Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Date Math (“we,” “us,” or “the site,” available at date-math.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We’ve tried to keep it plain and honest. In short: the calculator itself does its work on your device, and we use a small amount of standard analytics and advertising technology to keep the site running and free.
The short version
- Your dates never leave your browser. Every calculation runs locally on your device. We do not transmit, log, or store the dates or values you enter.
- We don’t require accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or profile to create.
- We use limited analytics and may show ads. These third-party services may use cookies and collect standard technical data, as described below.
Information we do not collect
The dates, numbers, and options you enter into any calculator are processed entirely within your browser. They may appear in the page’s web address (the URL) so that a calculation can be bookmarked or shared, but they are not sent to or stored on our servers. We do not ask for and do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifier in order to use the tools.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, when you visit Date Math our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically receive standard technical information, including:
- Your device type, browser, and operating system;
- Your approximate region or country (derived from your IP address);
- The pages you view and how you arrived at the site (for example, a referring link);
- General usage patterns, such as which calculators are most used.
This information is aggregated and used to understand how the site is performing and how to improve it. It is not used to personally identify you.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. Date Math and its third-party partners may use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to:
- Remember your preferences, such as light or dark theme;
- Measure traffic and understand how the site is used;
- Serve and measure advertising, where applicable.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can set most browsers to refuse cookies. Some features, such as remembering your theme choice, may not work as expected if you disable them.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to help us understand site usage. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your IP address and usage data. This information is used to compile reports on site activity. You can learn more from Google’s Privacy Policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across the web using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising
Date Math may display advertisements served by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. These partners help keep the site free to use.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of personalized advertising from participating vendors at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
For more on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete certain information, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not collect personal information that identifies you directly, our ability to act on individual requests is limited, but if you have a question or request you can contact us at any time.
Where required, advertising and analytics partners will request your consent (for example, through a consent banner) before non-essential cookies are set, and you may withdraw that consent at any time through your browser or the opt-out links above.
Children’s privacy
Date Math is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
Third-party links
Our pages may link to external websites we don’t control. This Privacy Policy applies only to Date Math. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any other sites you visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on this page. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
