Terms of Use
Last updated: June 13, 2026
Welcome to Date Math. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and its calculators (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Date Math provides free online tools for performing date calculations, such as adding or subtracting time from a date, counting the days between two dates, working with business days, and finding period boundaries. The Service is provided for general informational and convenience purposes.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and reasonably. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair the Service, its servers, or its networks (for example, through automated scraping that places an unreasonable load on the site);
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or any related systems;
- Reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
3. No professional advice
The calculations provided by Date Math are offered for general use and convenience. They are not a substitute for professional, legal, financial, medical, or official advice. Calendar rules, business-day conventions, public holidays, and deadlines can vary by jurisdiction, institution, contract, and circumstance. For any decision that carries legal, financial, or other significant consequences, you should independently verify the result and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional or the relevant authority.
4. Accuracy and availability
We work to keep Date Math accurate and available, but we make no guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation is correct for your particular purpose. Holiday data, in particular, reflects commonly observed public holidays for the supported regions and may not account for regional variations, observed (in lieu) days, or one-off changes. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text, and underlying code, is owned by Date Math and its creator and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the Service and share links to it freely. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the site’s code or content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
6. Third-party services and links
The Service may use third-party tools (such as analytics and advertising providers) and may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for details on the third-party services we use.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the Service at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Date Math and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or reliance on any calculation it provides.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
